Nervosa / Warbringer - Double The Thrash Tour 2022

Tuesday, March 22 at 19:00, 2022

A heavy, incontrollable vortex led by the full-speed Thrash/Death metal engine NERVOSA is ready to attack the world and leave nothing but Perpetual Chaos (out January 22 via Napalm Records) in its wake! Their talented new line up – featuring founding guitarist Prika Amaral and talented new members Diva Satanica on vocals, Mia Wallace on bass and Eleni Nota on drums – strike with inexorable full femme power, showcasing their ability for critical and straightforward lyricism mixed with an intoxicating blend of thrash spiced with remarkable death metal assaults.
Their high-speed new single, “Guided By Evil”, is the first offering from next year’s full-length and highlights their sinister new facets, whilst also underlining their unmistakable thrashing roots. The fitting audio-visual grabs the demons by the horns and evokes a bloody, enigmatic spell. The first single pulls no punches by dissecting the concept of two-faced people who eventually stab you in the back – truly guided by evil.
Enter the coven and be a part of the next generation of NERVOSA!
Formed in late 2004, Warbringer went from a completely untested group of new musicians into one of the flagship names in 21st century thrash metal in remarkably short time. Through continued musical development, creativity, relentless hard work, and a rock-solid discography, Warbringer has survived and thrived while most of its peers have fallen by the wayside.
After two demos, the young band released its first album in 2008, and immediately hit the international metal touring circuit. As part of the “New Wave of Thrash,” Warbringer’s music was fierce, aggressive, and untamed, a contrast to the often-sterile modern metal of the era. Warbringer quickly became known as absolute road warriors, doing back-to-back tours (playing 300 shows in 2009 alone) for almost the entirety of 2008-2013, and gained a reputation for a powerful live show. They shared the stage with a slew of heavy music heavyweights: Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Testament, Arch Enemy, Kreator, Exodus, Nile, Overkill, Obituary, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed, Gojira, and Nile, to name a few. During this period they recorded four albums, each showing swift development in musicianship, songwriting, and performance for a very fresh and exciting band.
Also remarkable and unusual is the “rebirth” of the group following the departure of several key members in late 2013, under pressure of relentless touring. Rather than call it quits, Warbringer rebuilt itself from 2014-2016, and came out with what critics and fans overwhelmingly regard as its strongest outing to date, 2017’s Woe to the Vanquished, released on Napalm Records.
Currently Warbringer is pending release of the follow-up to Woe to the Vanquished, 2020’s Weapons of Tomorrow. We expect this record to gather widespread critical and fan acclaim equal to or beyond its predecessor, and believe we have created the strongest Warbringer record to date- the only option for us. Furthermore, the group currently has a strong and stable lineup of 5 stellar musicians, hardened and seasoned from over a decade of experience on the stage and in the studio.
We regard the current state of the group as having great untapped potential due to the quality of the band’s recorded output, its strong reputation among metal fans, and the strength of the live performance. Warbringer is currently seeking partnership with booking and management which recognizes this potential to take an already developed, already professionally working band and to push it forward to the next stage. The band’s story is one of a relentless work ethic and an unwavering commitment to playing real metal with passion, energy, skill, and refinement.
Swedish thrash metal three-piece WARFECT hailing from Uddevalla have been bringing their blackened thrash metal to the hordes for over a decade. The 2013 release EXONERATION DENIED and SCAVENGERS from 2016 was supported by European tours with LICH KING, VULCANO and NUNSLAUGHTER where stages at festivals like SWR Barroselas, Obscene Extreme, In Flammen, Under the Black Sun and Metal Magic was on the bill. The band has been featured in magazines like Metal Hammer, Legacy, Sweden Rock, Close-Up and Rock Tribune. A new album is slated for a late 2020 release.
